Maria is a 7-year-old girl from Sheffield. She loves music, dance, flowers, and pets - she is brilliant in science, mathematics, and writing. Maria was born autistic and it is so hard to observe how she struggles to get by her day to day life. She looks like a very normal girl on the outside but sadly life has been very challenging to her especially in the last 2 years as her condition has worsened and she has to live in a wheelchair and feed through food tubes. The challenges of raising and medical bills have been extremely stressful to her mother Terese who is a single mother. Service dogs make a huge positive impact on autistic people, more than many days of therapy combined. They companionship of a dog helps majorly in the relief of stress, anxiety, helps increase self-confidence, provide much-needed companionship, teach responsibility, deter negative reactions and help calm her down when she is severely stressed. Please help us make life better for Maria by donating to this fund and also sharing it with your friends
